BC Bridge Print
Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 18, 2026

1. About This Policy
Cornershell Systems ("we", "our", "us") operates the BC Bridge Print mobile application and the BC Bridge Print Client Portal (together, "the Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the Service, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices you have.

By creating an account or using the Application, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Who We Are
BC Bridge Print is a business productivity application that enables commercial operators such as retailers and point-of-sale businesses print receipts wirelessly to Bluetooth thermal printers as well as attached point of sale thermal printers. The Service is intended for business use by adults aged 18 and over.

You can reach us at: support@bcbridgeprint.com

3. Information We Collect
We only collect information that is necessary to provide and improve the Service. Below is a plain-language summary of the categories of information we collect and why.

3.1 Account Information
When you register for an account through our Client Portal, you provide us with your name, email address, phone number, country, and for business accounts, your company name. This information is used to create and manage your account, verify your identity, and communicate with you about the Service.

3.2 Login & Session Information
When you sign in to the mobile Application, we create a secure session so you stay logged in. Your account email, display name, and session credentials are stored securely on your device and are never shared with third parties.

3.3 Licence Information
To activate the Application, you use a licence key linked to your subscription. We store details about your licence, such as its activation status, expiry date, and the device it is activated on, so we can validate that your subscription is current and that each licence is used as permitted.

3.4 Device Information
When you activate a licence on a device, we record the device's name (e.g., the manufacturer and model) and a unique, anonymised device identifier. This information is used solely to manage your licence activations and to help you identify which devices are linked to your account from the Client Portal. We do not use device information for tracking, advertising or sharing with 3rd party.

3.5 Bluetooth Printer Information
The Application accesses Bluetooth to discover and connect to your thermal printer. The name and connection details of your selected printer are saved on your device as a convenience so you do not need to re-select it each time. This information is stored only on your device and is never sent to our servers.

3.6 Print Content
When you print a receipt or document through the Application, the content is sent directly from your device to your printer. We do not store, read, or transmit your print content. It is processed entirely on your device and is not retained after the print job is complete.

3.7 Support Communications
If you contact us through the in-app support feature or the Client Portal, we collect the messages you send, along with your account details where applicable, so that our team can respond to your request.

3.8 Store or Terminal Name (Optional)
You may optionally assign a name to identify the location or terminal where a licence is in use (for example, "Main Till" or "Warehouse"). This name appears in your Client Portal dashboard and is used only for your own organisational convenience.

4. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect and have no access to:
• Your location (we do not use GPS, Wi-Fi positioning, or any location services)
• Your camera or microphone
• Your contacts, calendar, or call history
• Your photos or files
• Your browsing history or activity in other applications
• Your payment card or banking information
• Any form of biometric data

The Application contains no advertising networks and no third-party analytics or tracking tools. We do not serve you advertisements.

5. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
• Create and manage your account on the Client Portal.
• Verify your email address and keep your account secure.
• Activate and validate your software licence.
• Keep you signed in to the Application on your device.
• Send you important service communications (see Section 6).
• Respond to support requests you submit.
• Notify you when your subscription is approaching its expiry date.
• Check whether a software update is available for the Application.

We do not use your information for marketing to third parties, and we do not build profiles about you for advertising purposes.

6. Communications We Send You
We send transactional emails that are necessary for the operation of the Service. These are not marketing messages. They include:
• A verification email when you create your account.
• A welcome email and your licence credentials when your account is activated.
• Password reset instructions when you request them.
• Notifications when new licence keys are issued to your account.
• Reminders as your subscription approaches its expiry date.
• Confirmation when you submit a renewal request, and the outcome when it is processed.
• Notifications when your subscription is extended.
• Replies from our support team to tickets you have raised.

Because these emails relate directly to your account and subscription, they cannot be opted out of while your account remains active.

7. How We Protect Your Information
We take the security of your information seriously and use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it.

7.1 On Your Device
Sensitive account and licence information stored on your device is protected by strong encryption using your device's built-in secure storage. If your device is not able to provide a sufficient level of security for this data, the Application will alert you rather than storing your information in an unprotected way.

Your data is not backed up to the cloud by the Application. It cannot be restored to a different device, which prevents unauthorised access if a device is lost or transferred.

7.2 In Transit
All communication between the Application and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard protocols. We do not permit any unencrypted communication in our production environment.

7.3 On Our Servers
Your password is never stored in a readable form. We use strong, one-way hashing to protect it. Access to our servers and databases is restricted to authorised personnel only, and we apply security controls consistent with industry best practices.

8. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for commercial purposes. Your information may be disclosed only in the following circumstances:

• Legal requirements — if we are required to do so by law, court order, or a governmental or regulatory authority.
• Safety and security — to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users, our team, or the public, where permitted by law.
• Business transfer — if our business is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before this happens and before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

9. How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we remove your personal information from our systems. Some information may be retained for a short additional period where required by law or for legitimate operational purposes such as resolving disputes.

Information stored on your device is cleared when you sign out of the Application or uninstall it.

10. Your Rights & Choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@bcbridgeprint.com and we will respond within 30 days.

10.1 Access & Correction
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct any information that is inaccurate or out of date. You can also update many of your details directly from the Client Portal.

10.2 Deleting Your Data
You have two options for deleting your data, depending on what you want to remove:

Remove this device from a licence — If you want to unlink a single device and remove the data associated with it from that licence, you can do this from within the Application. Open the app, scroll to the bottom of the home screen, and tap "Delete My Data." This immediately removes the device's registration from our systems. Your account and other licences are not affected.

Delete your full account — To permanently delete your account, subscription, all licence keys, and associated data, log in to the Client Portal at https://bcbridgeprint.com/portal/login, go to Account, and select "Delete Account." Because a business account may have multiple users and devices attached to it, full account deletion is handled through the portal rather than from a single device.

If you cannot access the app or portal, contact us at support@bcbridgeprint.com and we will process your deletion request manually.

10.3 Other Rights
Depending on where you are located, you may also have the right to object to certain uses of your data, request that we restrict how we process it, or ask for a copy of your data in a portable format. Please contact us to make any such request.

11. Children's Privacy
BC Bridge Print is a business application and is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@bcbridgeprint.com and we will delete it promptly.

12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this document. If the changes are significant, we will notify you through the Application or by email. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
